ⓘ OVERVIEW

Saliva explores themes of liquid, heat, and viscosity through synths and heavy processing. Produced from COVID to starting university, Saliva makes use of field recordings of local fires and wildlife in combination with psychedelic pads, leads, and distorted drums to convey a conflict between liquid and fire. I drew inspiration from G Jones, Boards of Canada, and Amon Tobin.

Saliva is my 2nd LP and is actually set in the Hierre universe, as it aims to emulate the sounds of fauna and sci during a single day cycle on planet Lunscu.

🎹 PRODUCTION

I produced Saliva in Logic Pro using field recordings and synths like Massive and Alchemy. It was in production from 2020-2021.

The art was made by taking pictures of moss after it was raining/frosty, then using kaleidoscope and colorize filters in GIMP.

My long-time friend and fellow producer Sebastien Alamo-Selis contributed on Dark Water and Throat of the Woods.
